You can choose to enable a contact form on your network homepage. Read more about how to set this up in Customizing Your Network.
If you choose to enable the contact form, the assigned Contact Email will receive all messages from the contact form from an email address formatted in the manner of your network’s URL. For example:
- If your network is on a Pressbooks.pub domain, for example at https://institution.pressbooks.pub, you will receive emails from firstname.lastname@example.org
- If your network is on a custom domain, for example at https://openpress.uni.edu, you will receive emails from email@example.com
In some cases, this email address can trigger your email account’s spam filters. Be sure that the assigned Contact Email adjust their spam filters to accommodate reception of these messages.
